This song took a long time to write-I kept working on it and working on it and could never finish it or get a version that i liked. then one night it magically all came together so easily. It's a song about the old club days in NJ and seeing a goddess on the dance floor...
I'm playing acoustic and vox
Patrick Lobsinger is on drums
Tim Raymond is on bass and
Sean Mormelo is on lead guitar here
THE NIGHT HAS EYES
Every night he gets in his car and goes driving
Got his plans for the night already decided
He ain't like all those other guys
Just out looking for wild times
Indiscriminately with any girl they can find
Come the night when the headlights shine
He's got other things on his mind
As he drives through the night to go looking for her
He goes looking for her
He's goin' looking for her
One night in a crowded bar she was dancing
mesmerised by lights to the beat that were flashing
In his eyes while the music pounded
she was spinning around and 'round
her sexuality seemed to be unleashed by the sound
Since the night that he seen that girl
there's an image of her that's burned in his mind
As he drives through the night to go looking for her
It's become an obsession
He's a man on a mission
Night after lonely night he goes looking for her
he goes looking for her, he goes looking for her
he's going looking for her
The Night has Eyes
